By her “book” she probably means drugs with FDA approval and regulated in the United States - which Adrafinil is not. Doubtful she will have a change of heart with extra research – but you can always try.
Adrafinil is a chemical predecessor to Modafinil which does have FDA approval for the treatment of narcolepsy. Modafinil is known in the medical community (would be in her book) for “off label” treatment of ADHD, shift-work sleep disorder, and disease-related fatigue. Those on MWO that use Adrafinil use it to counter the fatigue related effects of Topamax.
