AWIP - never underestimate the effect of detoxing. Even if we aren't in traditional "DTs" - your body, suddenly being free of the constant inload of alcohol, is now rejoicing and doing a 'spring cleaning'. Cleansing and clearing out of toxins causes groggy, foggy, headachey, as the old toxins move through your system and out. The best you can do for this is drink LOTS AND LOTS of water, with fresh lemon juice is great as much as possible, to help wash all this out. Take hot baths with salt, sweat, make sure you are 'regular', do lots of deep breathing (the lungs are extratory organs, you know). Also be sure you are eating good, clean foods. Avoid processed anything, and sugar, as this only inhibits the natural cleansing your body so much wants to so, and prolongs and exacerbates the cleansing side effects.
You have a lot of crap moving on out, and just know that while cleansing sucks in the moment you will feel so very much better once you're cleaner. If you're really into it, look into various cleanses. There are herbal kits available, certain diets, etc.
Don't curse the cleansing, welcome it with gratitude and know it is part of your healing.
Btw, Kudos on the 5 days!!!
