Dan, your story breaks my heart. I truly hope you find the strength and help to beat the alcohol. You are so young, please consider getting help, EVERYWHERE you can. It is really really tough, doing it on your own. You will receive lots of support here and many many strong arms and shoulders, but this is online. Have you considered talking to your doctor? I think that would be a great first step.
I will watch for your posts. I can't offer many suggestions, I am just starting out myself, and I am a lot older that you (my son is a lot older than you). Good on you for recoginizing your problem at an early age and hopefully overcoming addiction before it causes you any more pain.
