Hi Dr. Garcia ~

I have been on Topamax for about 4 months now (taking 100mg and doing fabulous!!) and have been experiencing some irregular periods within the past couple of months. I am also taking birth control (Lutera) and have been on Birth Control for about 5 years. Could the irregularity be from the Topamax and if so, should this be a cause for concern? I will get "spotting" for a few days and then that will be it for the month.

I am only 25 and don't want anything to be "wrong" with my hormones...I want to be able to have kids one day...

Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
