I've managed to do most all holidays AF for the last several years and must say they are SOOOOO much better in every way.

quick non partisan political observation: our military did NOT get a chance to vote. they got screwed. confirmed now from several sources. here's one: Military Absentee Ballots Delivered One Day Late, Would Have Swung Election For Romney | The Duffel Blog

that makes me furious.

ok, time for yet another 'calm down' green tea

Lav, Kombucha is a traditional Japanese fizzy health drink. it's really unusual and fun. sort of like a sophisticated tasting semi-sweet (almost tart) soft drink.

started using my TRX 'fitness anywhere' device and I'm pleasantly sore. yay

be well peeps

Det....I am sorry to hear how the vote will have an effect on your job. Too many do not realize how far reaching this vote was. I am on your side But, this is not a politcal forum and most here are not from the US.

I am not feeling happy and strong today.....but, still sober.

Det, I'd vowed to stop any talk of politics here but I can't keep my mouth closed on this one because it's just complete bunk.

No offense, but look at the source here! This is a light piece of military satire that has been, as so often happens, republished and misconstrued all over the web by those who would love this to be true.

If there were any truth in this wouldn't it be major news?

Now, breathe deeply, and look at this debunking of this satirical news story:

snopes.com: Military Absentee Ballots Delivered One Day Late

Ok, zipping lips now!

Cat *waves hello* thank you for that! And I'm so sorry that your boss is such a complete and total ARSE! I suppose a job change is out of the question? It's not nice to live with disrespect day in and day out.

I had a boss like this once. When I returned to being self employed any time things were tough I would think of his big piggish sexist face and feel determined to make it work. I made one silly mistake there early on - nothing drastic and, hell, I was young and learning the job - and he started calling me 'bungle' day in and out for the rest of the time I was there. (In case that doesn't translate to Americans to bungle something means basically to screw it up). Can you imagine? So humiliating! Basically just telling me I was a fuck-up day in and out topped with sexist comments inbetween. God, it's years later and STILL makes me furious to think about!

I'm mentally kicking your boss in the shins for you!
