DogLvr, how'd the bike ride go?

DoggyGirl, Dx and I don't leave for burning man until a week from tomorrow. we'll be out there in the blowing dust and blazing heat for 5 days. I will dream of an actual shower ever day as I did last year. hahahaha. in spite of natures attempts to kill us we will have a total blast I'm sure as we did last year.
I was really worried about maintaining my sobriety at BM last year as I had only 60 days AF and was with a camp full of heavy drinkers. yes it was a challenge but I was fine then and this year will be even better as I feel much more resolved.
Internet access may or may not be available there but they have sober camps and even AA meetings out there which will be interesting.

well I see the boards have been pretty weird lately so hang in there everyone....this too shall pass.

Hey there - the bike ride was exellent and got me through what I thought was going to be a night with beer - but it turned out to be root beer for me. Got over to Georgetown and then was so bold that I biked all around the monuments - there was a concert going on in front of the Capitol, so that added a little energy. It's hot here today, so I think I am going to try to find a pool finally!
