OK, 2 beers it was last night and no more. Going to count my UK units here too, last night amounted to 4.2 units. It actually says on my can of beer that responsible women drinkers shouldn't exceed 2-3 units a day... oops! The NHS states that the recommended maximum for a week is 14 units for a woman, although my private dentist says it's 10! Anyway, as things are done by weeks, I need to also add on the 2 drinks I had Monday.
In that case, total count for this week so far is 8.4 units. Last edited by vlad : 07-03-2008 at 06:49 AM. |

Hi Vlad
You've certainly made me smile this morning reading your thoughts and frustrations. About the units thingy, my Doctor says 21 is fine for women as long as they're spread out over the week (my tally at the time was probably nearer 70 so I was out of that one!!). I find it easier to go AF if there IS al in the house - if there isn't I panic - how weird is that? Bx |

Funnily enough, if I have vodka in the house, I don't obsess about it as much but I do ending up drinking more and my units clock up to 30 in a week. |
