Good morning Ducky and all you modsters, Well I am failing miserably at weekend mods. I email Ask for help to see if she was the one who talked about journaling. I think I really need to identify my triggers and mood when I am drinking and not. Any advise would be great. Have a great day all.

My triggers were pretty easy to identify, so I was lucky. I was a binge drinker, and usually on Friday nights. I would pick up my bottle of wine at the grocery market knowing that I would probably polish it off in one evening. I also would drink alone. My husband stopped drinking about 4 years ago, not that he drank very much anyways. So everytime I would drink at home I would drink alone. Two really bad triggers for me. So as simple as it may sound, I stopped buying the wine bringing it home.....bad example for my kids too. I think first of all you need to ask yourself how much do I really want this? Do I want to be able to drink in moderation or not? IF you do, then you need to be willing to put in alittle work. Do I miss coming home after a long tiring week and having my wine? You betcha! but I know that it would only turn into some binge all over again. If you really want it, I know that you can do it! What a great feeling, it was to go out with friends for dinner and have a glass of wine, and be ok with that. The other thing that helps me alot is just taking the supplements, kudzu, exercising and talking to you. I also took the advice to abs for the 30 days and that really really helped alot. Have a great day, Leyla |
