Default Monday Mods - April 21st

Good day Modsters,

Had an up and down week last week but my supplements finally came and I started them yesterday. My god that multivitamin is hard to swallow!

Lots to get done today so might not be on too much.

BB, hope all is well with Kerrie. Please keep us posted.

Good morning Ducky and all you modsters, Well I am failing miserably at weekend mods. I email Ask for help to see if she was the one who talked about journaling. I think I really need to identify my triggers and mood when I am drinking and not. Any advise would be great. Have a great day all.

Default Identifing Triggers

Katso20

My triggers were pretty easy to identify, so I was lucky. I was a binge drinker, and usually on Friday nights. I would pick up my bottle of wine at the grocery market knowing that I would probably polish it off in one evening. I also would drink alone. My husband stopped drinking about 4 years ago, not that he drank very much anyways. So everytime I would drink at home I would drink alone. Two really bad triggers for me. So as simple as it may sound, I stopped buying the wine bringing it home.....bad example for my kids too.

I think first of all you need to ask yourself how much do I really want this? Do I want to be able to drink in moderation or not? IF you do, then you need to be willing to put in alittle work. Do I miss coming home after a long tiring week and having my wine? You betcha! but I know that it would only turn into some binge all over again. If you really want it, I know that you can do it! What a great feeling, it was to go out with friends for dinner and have a glass of wine, and be ok with that. The other thing that helps me alot is just taking the supplements, kudzu, exercising and talking to you. I also took the advice to abs for the 30 days and that really really helped alot. Have a great day, Leyla

Leyla, Thank you so much for your kind words and advise. You are right, I need to stop buying for home. I had purchase some AF wine and had some of that last night. I am day two on a journal and writing down all the good things I feel so I will not forget.
