Default suppliments for moderation

Hi All,

I am a newbie here and I dont want to start out going crazy on the suppliments. I want to try a few things out before I get 20 bottles of things I dont take.. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good starter suppliment to curb cravings and do I have to buy them online or are there health stores that sell them...

thanks

Kudzo and L-Glut are the best for cravings - you can get them at health stores but the formulations on MWO are the right amount for the program.

Hope that helps!

Yep, the Kudzu and L-Glut are for cravings..the rest are mostly to make make up for what your body is lacking through abuse and some are for calming/sleep aid.

The first month I started I didn't take anything and although I made it through, it was more difficult and I didn't feel as good as I did when I "started the program" and for six weeks took the All One, B6 and Magnesium, and milkthistle. I too worried about buying stuff I would not take, but decided to go for it because at the rate I'd been drinking I was probably deficient. I took the Kudzu 2x/day but didn't feel that many cravings. I felt great, and still do, but after several months stopped the supps.

Now I only use Topo regularly and Kudzu and L-glut when need it, but am glad I gave myself the "jump start" with all the supps, (and the CDs which I still use) as I feel I got body, mind and soul all on the same wavelength.

Hope that helps.

Do you need to take the kudox and the topo.. could just taking the kudox do the trick. I want to take the topo but my doc wont prescribe it and I am nervous about taking something like that without the doc knowing. Plus I heard the side effects can be bad.

I just want something that can help me control binge drinking. I am typically fine during the week. Maybe have one or two drinks after work occassionally but on the weekends if I go out I usually drink too excess.. and I hate it.

I take a natural multi-vitamin, Gaba, L-Glute and fish oil.

For me, the L-Glute works well to alleviate cravings especially during the 4-6 pm time.

The Gaba seemed to take about 1 month to feel the effects. Able to focus a little better, senses heightened.......

I always take vitamins and fish oil.

Minimouse: The good news is there are many paths to try, and you should start with what you feel comfortable with. Sounds to me like kudzu feels right to you for now, and topo doesn't . Why not try that, and see how you do? It might be fine! Not everyone uses everything, and you may find you add one or two supps as you go. A good multi vit is probably a good idea. Give Kudzu a try, and I would recommend the CDs and a light exercise program and LOTS of posting here for support, comraderie and a sense of community.

Let us know how it's going!
Fondly,

G
