Default Reasons Not To Drink/Davie's Days

Couldn't figure out how to start a blog - so I thought as part of my Plan I'd start a thread reminding myself why I shouldn't drink. I could list 20 straight off but I'm going to post a new reason each day over the next weeks to ensure i come back daily to remind my self of the reasons and to keep the focussed. Apologies if this newbie enthusiasm is overbearing. BTW just down loaded the PDF book - looking forward to reading it.
Reasons
(1) Absolutely nothing positive comes from me drinking.

Great idea Davie,

Newbie enthusiasm will rub off on all of us. Newbies and oldies.

Look forward to tomorrow.

Love Jackie xxx

Hey Davie...love your newbie enthusiasm, so keep it up! It's definitely a key ingredient to success!

And, you are absolutely 100% correct...absolutely nothing positive comes from you drinking...or me either!

Sheri

Good job Dave,
Once you get some AF time under your belt...the reasons will stack up. Just watch what a more confident, PRODUCTIVE person you will become. Most of all, you won't wake up hating yourself. To me, that the biggest bonus! Keep it going!

I can sure use some enthusiasm. I'm just starting this journey and more than a little scared. I'll be checking your 20 reasons daily for some encouragement.

Thanks for the comments.
Sat night - staying in to watch the big fight here with a buddy of mine -will be no booze.

Reasons:

1) Absolutely nothing positive comes from me drinking
2) My most difficult times from childhood to adulthood have been as a direct or indirect result of my own or someone elses (father's) alcohol abuse.
