me too. My optomitrist is a friend and knows about my problem. I'll ask him and post back if he knows. They feel dry (like the rest of me) but sort of swollen sore feeling too.

If I drink alot, my eyes can feel very sore in the morning. Don't know if one bottle of wine would do that to me though.

Just sharing my experience..

It is from dehydration and depleted vitamins, especially zinc, in your system.

Yep. Daughter has that issue, too, especially now with her liver and getting the throw ups and diarrhea. She gets dehydrated and her eyes get very sensitive and the skin around her eyes gets all red.

Doc says it is all part of the symptoms.

Sounds like swelling (enlargement) of the optical nerve. I would not drink wines with sulfites, the natural ones are better? Never had that happen.

My thoughts exactly! What is your avatar? I live in a world of wild chickens and hunting dogs. Is something happening that we should be aware of? (there are no nuclear power plants here but plenty of GMO and medical waste)

How nortie can you be, a cock hound? I don't see my poodle puppy as a c-Hound for gods-sake? This is about sore eyes and RED wine, thats why I don't touch the stuff it always got me in trouble. Please apoligise.
