Coming Off Psychiatric Medication - Home
The above site I found through a link from a video sharing forum I participate on called "Vimeo" Here's also the link to the clips. Session A: Benzodiazepines and COMING OFF MEDICATION on Vimeo They tend to look at this more from the practitioners point of view but you may get some ideas from this in requesting what you personally need from your own treatment agency Love and Light Phil xx

Yes, great article!
Also, i feel better after reading as I'm not really using so much benzo as that.. think my problem is less serious. Really only sporadic and when I want to go AF .. between 5 - 15 mg - nothing like the huge doses people mentioned in that article are having to come off from. Knowing they can come off such long term high dosages is a great comfort ![]()

Personal experience and working with a psychiatrist who specializes in addiction. I take Xanax and Baclofen. I have Panic Disorder and the combination is fine according to him.
However, drinking on a benzo is a big NO-NO and can cause an overdose. Please talk to your doctor about the weaning off process. When I was on a much higher dose of benzo's, I tapered down .5mg at a time. But that is my experience. Not to be replaced by professional advice. Good luck!
