Yep. Me too. He doesn't appreciate emails. He'd rather have a phone call. Weird, I know.

This thread is being pinged back to Doylestown Midwifery and this site:

The Midwifery of Doylestown @ Advanced Wellness

What's up with that?

Understood, thanks for clarifying. I'm building up the gumption and will call soon.

I love him to death, he saves lives and is a hero of mine but, he's afraid of computers and fax machines built after 1990.

Just been prescribed Baclofen through the Alcohol team (LCAS)at the Liverpool Royal Hospital. They are absolutely fantastic. Just ask if anyone needs more info. I was prescribed it after a home detox.

Default Doctors in Dublin, Ireland?

found this thread when researching baclofen online - I had tried getting a prescription from
a GP in Dublin (Ireland) for anxiety/alcohol problems but they said it is not well studied for that purpose and to try more mainstream drugs - benzos.
anyone know of a doctor in Dublin (or anywhere in Ireland/NI - I can travel!) sympathetic to prescribing baclofen?
thanks, Joanc

Sorry can't help with Doc's in Ireland, but you're in the right place to learn about Bac!

Cheers!

looks like things have tightened up in Ireland, got my first refusal from an online pharmacy - InHouse. River Pharmacy also can not complete my order - have a good mate in Toronto who would ship to me (...gift wrap might get through customs...) but looks like River will not ship within CA w/o prescription, presumably they have similar laws as here

Just posting this in case it is of use (...in a negative kinda way...) to anyone else in ROI

"inHouse Pharmacy - Europe order # XXX
There have been changes in the law for medications shipped to the Republic of Ireland.

Irish Customs now require a valid doctor's prescription to clear the goods from customs otherwise the order will be confiscated and the medications destroyed.

I am sorry but we cannot ship any of our products to Ireland. Your order has now been cancelled and refunded."
