Default Gabapentin/Neurotonin saved me...

For anyone who has experienced mixed results with Baclofen, consider adding Gabapentin or Neurotonin.

Baclofen worked until I tried to experiment with drinking alcohol in moderation.

After that point the Baclofen simply did not produce the same results...

Gabapentin added, and worked.

Currently, I take 25mg Bac, at night before bed, and only Gabapentin during the day at 100mg per dose.

After tomorrow I will take only Gabapentin/Neurotonin, and report my results along with my method of switching which involves a spiritual, mental, and physical "reboot."

Gabapentin or Neurotonin side effects, were remarkably more subtle "in my experience."

Below are two sources of information.

I hope this helps someone, forgive this brief post I will add more later.

Hi DIY, I don't find gabapentin helps me avoid alcohol so much as it helps lift my mood, which perhaps keeps me from reaching for alcohol on those days out of desperation. I'm on low dose baclofen (50mg) and gabapentin as needed, up to 1200mg day but usually I try to keep it around 400mg.

Thants a massive dose Bruun, I take 100mg (I think). I take gabapentin to help mood and since Ive been AF from before I started taking it I cant tell you if it has any effect on not drinking, but I would think the fact that you dont feel so shit would definately help not drink.

Rudy, hate to burst the bubble but gabapentin is the generic name for neurontin.
