I dont think weight has anything to do with how much Topa a person takes as it operates on brain chemistry unless our individual brains weigh tremendously different

This is not a poll to slam Mail Order Topa at all. Please don't think that. I was just curious if the efficacy was the same. I would hope they would be giving the same thing.

I am also curious in general about how many people really have to go up to 300mg since my doc said that was exceptionally high doses and doesnt recommend going that high.

To Lushy:

Can't you fib and tell your doctor you want it for migraine headaches?

Yes, I have thought about that, but you know I think I heard someone on here say that going through their doctor was actually more expensive than ordering online? I guess I will look into my insurance if I decide to go down the topa route.

Lushy just say you have migrains.
Now my doc says I have migrains in my chart when he knows the truth. Most of them WILL put migrains anyway cuz ins wont pay for offline labeling.

Go to tomapax's website and study up. say your aunt takes topa for migrains and it works like a charm.

yea I have heard that some online pharmacies drugs may not be the same...just use a reputable one.

Maybe your doc may have samples tho. Who knows you could get them for free.

The web site gave 30 days of 25mg for free. ya needed a script tho.

And anther thing....I noticed a huge reduction in cravings right away with 25mgs.
I think for some reason it works better with beer drinkers tho.

I've ordered mine from Aclepsa Aclepsa.com - Online Health Superstore...I just placed my second order with them...their price seems to be the best I've found...it takes about three weeks to receive your order..at least that is what it takes me in TX.

I get my topa from aclepsa as well and it certainly seems to be doing the job (sucessfully moderating -ie two or three glasses of wine per week at most.) Must be the real thing cause I'm still getting the tingling toes and fingers. I'm still on 100mg and that's going on for four plus months now. I haven't needed to take it any higher cause I reckon that for me, at least, it's a good idea not to obliterate all 'wantings' for a glass of wine (cravings being too strong a word here) since I do intend to wean myself off the topa when I'm brave enough.

I probably should mention that I'm a fairly small framed female so the 100mg dosage may well be optimal for me at any rate.
