![]() Hi - I am reading through the threads and your experience could have been similar to mine -- I dosed up slowly and during the first 2 weeks experienced the slight headachiness, fogginess, hair loss (yes, I added selenium and biotin) but what really got me was that the first day of the third week when I increased to 75 mg I finally realized that my vision had just been steadily declining from this medication. It was a gradual thing, and had I not been looking for it I would have chalked it up to another middle-aginess symptom. But literally: I couldn't focus my eyes the way I needed to in order to see properly -- I felt like I needed a set of glasses (instead of just reading glasses). It was so alarming that I decided to dump the topa immediately. So - I went cold turkey on day 2 of the third week. Now - 24 hours later - my vision is back to normal. I wish I'd been able to continue the topa because when I did all the elements of this program I was having a pretty smooth time with abstinance! However, maybe after two weeks of medication the real physical cravings will have diminished... we'll see. But nothing is worth ruining my eyesight over. |

I took it but had crappy side effects. I dosed up really slow and only got to about 62.5 mg (I cut the 25mg in half). I was irritated and my work suffered. I quit taking it and felt a whole lot better. I am doing the rest of the program and am not af but have many more af days than not. Also, I have not had more then two drinks at one time. I feel awesome and am going 30 days free in September. If you can't tolerate, don't take it. It will make you feel like crap if you are not one of the fortunate ones.....
