Hey everyone! Some time back someone asked if anyone knew where they could get topamax at cheap price. I found 20mgPills.com and got 25mg topamax, 90pills for 45.90. They're like .38 per pill. The only thing is they don't take MasterCard. You can use Visa, wire transfer or check-online. It took mine 3wks to arrive. Hope this helps some of you.

HI, I have a question, Where can you legally get topomax without a prescription. Are their legitmate Canadian Pharmacys that allow this. I want to try it, but want to be sure i am not doing anything illegal if I decide to order from a Canadian Pharmacy and how do I know a legitamate Pharmacy? and not someplace with poor quality or a scam??There is simply no wayI can go to my GP or Gyn Dr. I live in a very conservative part of the country, SC and a small town where my Husb is known in the community with his profession. I would be worried and I must admit embarassed to ask for fear it would not be private.I want to try it so badly, but again do not want to doanything illegal. thanks . pat

I ordered it from River Pharmacy in Canada without a prescription and it seemed legitimate. The pills were a generic brand, but many others here have used the same source. I did eventually end up going through a doctor, but if I couldn't get the prescription again, I'd order through River Pharmacy in a heartbeat because Topamax has really helped in my struggle against alcohol. This site offers a lot of good support. Good luck.

Julie, mine just arrived!! YEAH!!! But is it a generic: Topamac by J&J. Is that what you got also? Did you notice a diference in the generic?

But when you go up in dosages, people tell me you should see a doctor to have some regular blood work done.

Soberlady, I know you are scaird but legally the doctor can't tell anyone why you see him, and if the pharmasist is nosey, tell them its for migraine headaches.

I agree that ordering online is a scary proposition!

I think though that if RJ allows River Pharmacy to advertise here that it should be ok and a lot of members here have used it.

Also, you might want to ask for topamax from your doctor for migraine headaches. Lots of literature on that I think and some members have done it.

Soberlady--I'm up to 150mg. and it has helped tremendously with excessive drinking. I still have a few beers a week, but I used to drink a bottle of wine a night!

Waiting to Exhale--I got Topiramate as the generic brand from River Pharmacy, and I can't say that I noticed the difference. In fact, right now I'm using both my doctor's prescription and some of the River Pharmacy order because I want to use up want I paid for online. Just dose up slowly--25mg per week and consider talking about it. I was scared to death to talk to my doctor. I was embarrassed, ashamed, sure he wouldn't prescribe it because it was for an off label use, but he was willing and was actually supportive. But like I said, even if he wouldn't have, I still would have continued with the Topamax ordered online. I just would have taken exactly as outlined in RJ's book. It affects people differently. A friend and I went in to talk to our doctors at about the same time and both got prescriptions, and she's decided to stop taking it because of hair loss and headaches. Luckily, I haven't had any negative side affects except for tingly feet. I can live with that!

My biggest fear of goingto the doctor is not shame or embarrassment, but that I fear it will go into my medical records. And I am NOT convinced that certain information is not leaked to the insurance companies.

I already pay over $300 a month and have NO medical conditions except this damn AL addiction and I smoke off and on. I can't afford my insurance company getting wind of this. I also ordered it from River. I too trust that if it's advertised on this site, it's safe.

Also following the book. It's only day 2. God, I hope my hair doesn't fall out anymore. It was falling out in clumps for a few months with the stress of this breakup! I think I will order some selenium to try and avoid that. Anyone had success with anything else?

At what point did people go from mod to AF using Topa? Or did you go AF straight away? I'm scared. Excited, but scared.

PS: There is a new product for hair loss advertised in California called Ovation. Anyone tried it?
