Dr. Garcia,
I noticed that kudzu is not recommended if one has endometriosis. My gyn suspects that I suffer from adenomyosis, sometimes referred to as "inside-out endometriosis". The symptoms are excessive cramping and heavy bleeding that worsened after I had children. It is now thankfully under control, thanks to an IUD called the Mirena. Should I avoid kudzu? Thanks, Karen |

Karen, given your condition, it may be safer for you to avoid kudzu. Please see Roberta Jewell’s most recent program updates which are linked from the new home page. In addition, you may wish do a search on a site called “drugdigest.org”, looking for kudzu and you will find specific references there. I hope this helps.
