Want to share my dream...

After my last post that I couldn't get back to AF again I finally got the kick I needed.

I had a dream Saturday night.....

I had walked into the off license and went to the wine fridge. As I walked into the shop in front of me I saw a portrait of my Guru/Saint that I believe in. I carried on walking and as I put my hand on the bottle of wine, my mum held my hand and said "no more wine.....look over there - there's water....drink that instead".

I told my husband this and he laughed.

My mum died when I was 3 and I never really knew her. And she has only ever come into my dream 4 times in the last 24 years.

Thanks for reading - I just wanted to share what I think is my "moment of enlightenment".

Cool dream, Lotus. I had a non-drinking dream not too long ago. In the middle of the dream I remembered I didn't drink anymore.

Think I read that Greeneyes - yours was cool too - hey a lot more positive than dreaming you're a huge alcoholic giant who goes around eating off licences; can't satisfy your addiction and so go looking for a distillery! That was my latest dream...

This part of your dream really speaks to me - reminds me of the passage where Jesus is talking with the Samaritan woman and tells her about the living water:

Funnily enough, my drink of choice is vodka (Russian for water of life) - doh! Always told myself I'd got the wrong one, and not the one Jesus offers!!!
