Hippie, your post brought tears to my eyes.

I'm thankful today because:

I'm sober
I'm happy
I have so much in my life that is good
My 3 dogs that live with me and the anywhere from 10 - 15 that live at the shelter where I volunteer
I have a very good job that allows me to pay my bills and do the things I enjoy
My family and my friends
My nieces who are also my friends
The beautiful spring we have had so far
My garden
My home
The lovely caring and supportive people on this site

Today I am grateful for

Obama winning the democratic nomination
having the help today from a student intern
receiving compliments on my new skirt
I had good ideas at our department staff meeting
that the powers that be want to do it right this time by getting staff input

I love hippy's butt - it makes me laugh so

I love Walnut's prior avatar- same reason

I love that I just got off the phone with my 5th grade friend and told her about Lenair and my "problem" and we laughed about stuff after trying to stiffle a cry but was not really successful.

I love doggie's big wiggle when she sees me.

I love my kitty wanting a belly rub from me.

I love the support I get here.

I am grateful for:

1. I am still sober.
2. I have good friends at MWO that help me.
3. God still loves me.

Love,
Cindi
