These are things that I am grateful for.
1. I live in a beautiful place 2. I have a great smart son 3. I have a fun job, most of the time! 4. Friends who are supportive, those here at MWO and in "skin" 5. My kitty who is my back-up alarm clock! Cowgal and I wanted to start this thread to help us remember things we should appreciate, and will add to that everyday. Please feel free to chime in! As we go along they may become highlights of little moments of our days that made us all smile and remember that life is good.

Today's gratitudes....
1. The cosy coffee out of the rain with smiling waitresses who always make me feel welcome. 2. The hug I got after being really scared in a movie! 3. The loving sharing of a friend. 4. My daughter home safe after a journey. 5. Breathtaking music at a special service this evening.... It's a lovely world to be in. Hugs and blessings FMS xx

today's gratitude:
I lost £40 out of my back pocket today. I had two 20 pound notes folded up and I inserted them into my back pocket, little realising I had a hole in the pocket. I know if I was still drinking that would of been my booze money. I would now be going ballistic as I could not ask to borrow money of anyone as they would think it was for booze (and rightly so). I was able to borrow the money today without the look on my ex's face, that I've seen a thousand times in the past, where she knew inside that I was going to get drunk with that money. I'm thankful today that I have my sobriety and was able to deal with a situation that in the past would of had me in emotional turmoil due to the fact I could not go out to the pub. I'm also thankful that I have a better relationship with not just my ex partner but those around me I care for. Love and Happiness Hippie xx
