Talking The inspriational I read this morning....

After all the debate about Lenair and how its a state of mind, no matter what tool you use in yours or anyone's boxes, I read my inspirational passage in my book, A New Day, A New You, by Joyce Meyer, and I thought I'd type it here...it was weird that it was the passage for today!

To be tmperate is to be self-controlled. And to be of sober mind, is to be level-headed. So here you and I are told to be well-balanced, self-controlled, level-headed, rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined. According to this passage, 1 Peter 5:8-9, how are we going to defeat the devil and withstand physical and emotional onsets upon us? By being rooted and grounded in Christ. Satan may come againist us with feelings, but we don't have to submit to our emotions. We can stand firmly againist them even while they RAGE againist us and even WITHIN us.

When problem arise, and they will and do, we are not to assume that the Lord will intervene without an invitation and take care of all our problems for us. We are to pray and ask Him to change our circumstances. Then we are to remain constant and unchanging, which will be a sign to the enemy of this impeding downfall and destruction. Do you know why our constancy and fearlessness are signs to Satan that he will fail? How can he threaten someone who has no fear of him? How can he deceive someone who recognizes his lies and refuses to believe them? What good does it do him to try to stir up fear and anger or depression in someone who chooses to stand firmly on the Word of God? When the devil sees his tactics are not working, he realizes his is failing, and will be utterly defeated. To me this means that if we just fight the good fight, the ol Devil and AL will finally leave us alone! I think one reason that we try soooo hard, and then slip, is that the Devil is seeing us move closer to Christ, and is trying every last ditch effort and pulling out every last trick in his bag, to make us quit trying, and just fall back into his liar...I think that's why its always the hardest, right before you win the fight!!! I just thought I'd share this, it gave me a lil strength today!

He is a rascal...that devil...
No rules where he is concerned and he hits below the belt.....
BUT GOD.
"If God be for us...then who can be against us?"
Put on that armour everyday......
Yes and Amen!
Thanks for sharing that.
