Default Great Christmas cookie recipe and so easy

Poor Man Turtle's

One package of pretzels (any shape but sticks, you want something that lays flat and has some room on it like the kind that are in the shape of a bow)

One bag of Rolos (chocolate covered caramels)

One bag of whole pecans

Heat oven to 250.

Line the pretzels on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper.
Top each pretzel with a Rolo.
Place in the oven for 3-5 minutes, just enough to barely make the Rolo soft.
Take out of the oven, take a whole pecan half and place on top of the Rolo, gently pushing down to flatten the candy a bit. Let cool.

These are so good and you can make a ton at one time because so many fit on a cookie sheet. Be careful as they are very addictive.

OH Lushy - these sound terribly good (especially the easyness of making).

Wow!

Is this what you are making, or is this the recipe you were referring too? I love it.... so easy and yet seems so unique in that I have never seen it! (not like I define what's unique or not...lol)

We are hitting the kitchen on Thursday evening.... my little man and I to bake cookies, so this is definitely going to be included because he can totally do all the work!

Southernbelle, I loved your graham cracker... swirled chocolate thing too...

Any other recipes like this that do not require flour being all over me, (okay, I cheat and buy boxed Krusteaz brand sugar cookie mix), and having to be in the kitchen till 1 am cleaning up? Krusteaz does not provide a maid unfortunately.

Made these today.

Used salted cashews instead of pecans. Guess I wanted more salt.

Verdict? Can't speak. Can't move.

Cashews? Yum, that would be good. Go lie down and enjoy your sugar coma.

Okay, everybody else that makes them please let me know how you like them.

These sound really yummy! Thanks.

Another one along the same line as these and just as easy is take the same pretzel add a Hersey kiss, melt remove and press m&m down on top of kiss.
Very easy and good too and still get the sweet and salty. would look good and plate together.....
