Default Hemp seeds

(You can tell I'm clearing out my store cupboard ingredients, can't you!? All the things I've bought but don't know what to do with!!)

So anyone use these? Any ideas? I have some sugar coated ones that go on breakfast and I have some cold pressed oil that goes in everything! But the seeds themselves. OK I could smoke them! but that's probably not the best use (and I doubt they are the right type!)

Could I grind them up and add them to breads etc? They are so hard that they aren't really palatable. I will Google them but wondered if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks
Bessie xx

Chuck em in the garden, Bessie, and hope they make pretty flowers!

In the shell they're fit for nothing, in my humble opinion.....BUT - the out-of-shell ones are divine (although a bit pricey)...I sprinkle them on everything

I bet if you ground them real fine you could sprinkle them on anything, just like flax seed.

Have you tried that, Lush? Yuck...they are just tooooooo gritty! If you like eating sand you'll be fine, though......

Throw em AWAY Bessie!!!

Bessie, have you tried grinding them? They make a fine sort of peanut butter, actually very tasty.

Aren't you supposed to plant them? Then smoke them? No wait. . . that'll get you arrested. Don't do it! Also, with our addiction issues I won't send you there.
