This is a fascinating book,by Dot Moore, made more so for me because it's written about a real woman I've known of all my life. As a child, my Momma kidded me when I seemed to know things before they happened, that I was going to be like 'Miss Mahaley'. Born in 1875, she lived across the river from my family, and during her life was a teacher, lawyer, ran for the Senate, but was most famous for her 'second sight'. She was even used in a famous murder case, where she helped authorities find evidence and send an important white man to the electric chair. Wonderful reading.
