My Mood:
Default Velocity - by Mandy Sayer

This book is a autobiographic "memoir" - amazing because it is so well written and an account of her childhood without judgement .. such a hard thing to do.. just recount.

From the back of the book cover:
"Velocity tells the moving but often hilarious story of Mandy Sayer's childhood and adolecence, a life lived on the edges - of society, of poverty, of certainty, of love."

I will not ramble on, but this is a MUST READ. I lived in all of those places and was only 3 years younger so i identify very well with Mandy. Love her.

Book for me to hang on to so that i do not follow the path of her mother. I have children and it helps me understand my own childhood as well as my childrens.
