the AM snort snort. I am still logged in, cannot get logged out and have no choices about the help features I read about - in the Control Panel choose Community tab (I don't have one) then features (again, I don't have one). I kept trying and trying to type and send as in regular instant messaging but no luck. Perhaps I don't have privileges yet or my old computer didn't show me all the ways to use chat. I'll keep trying. Thanks to all who joined in though. If anyone has pointers, I'll be very grateful.

Hey Cathy,
Here is the info from the help screen. Registered users must be logged in to use Community Chat. How to use Community Chat To be able to load Chat on your system you must first have Java installed. To learn how to enable Java, click here for Internet Explorer) or click here (for non-Microsoft browsers). You must be logged into your ezboard account to participate in Chat. In the upper right hand corner of every board with Chat enabled you will see a link: Join Live Chat– click that link to launch the chat room. Once the chat window has loaded, simply type your desired content and press enter for others to see. Marcie |

about join Live Chat. the screen is basically empty. I seem my name in a navigator on the right and have three boxes at the top of an otherwise empty screen - color and font, use text, and clear. Something must be wrong with my computer. Thanks anyway. I just tried to reinstall Java but to no avail.

I FINALLY got in the chat room, in there now with PansyGirl and Allie. I checked my Java as you said and checked my internet connections. It said I'd have to reboot but I figured, what the heck, try it one more time - it takes forever to reboot.
Thanks so much! |
