Default Helpful hypnotherapy strategies

Ahhhh, mo bettah.

Let's restart this discussion over here, shall we? :-)

I'll go first:

In a pinch for time? Simply listen to track two of Hypnotic; it's less than twenty minutes and works great.

VERRRY NICE IDEA RJ!

Hey I had a Question for Donna Mc in the other thread about self hypnosis. Can I cut and past it into this thread without moving that whole thread to the top?

Donna

Apparently the answer is YES! Only I copied and pasted, not cut!

Ya Know Donna Mc,

I don't really think I do get it, but I really would like to understand this aspect of the cds. I know where James talks about this. You are saying you listen to the subliminal cd as background, and then count from 0-20, and then you have acutually hypnotized yourself with NO help from James at all...without listening to the hypno cd at all. Am I right? And then you give yourself suggestions?

Thanks for your help with this!!

The Other Donna

PS Ya know, my whole life I have never met another "Donna".

You bet, just copy your question from there, paste it over here, hit "Add Reply" and it'll bump this thread up instead. Thanks!

Best,

RJ

I like to listen to track 2 of clearing and track 2 hypnotic on alternate days as they are shorter and still seem to be working for me. Difficult to take much more than the 20/30 minutes away from my day.

I listen to sleep every night, all night and subliminal in the afternoon every day.

Hi there!
Was wondering about how you renew your mind to think of other things when you get a craving for drink - as in ice cubes clinking- but for me I think its abit more subtle as I look forward to a drink as a reward, when I'm stressed, as a light at the end of a tough day with the children, etc etc etc It isn't as cut and dried as that with me but I wish it was! I also have a long history of an eating disorder so I think the trigger also
is when I haven't eaten enough. I'm finding the cd's great ( the accent just sounds american, not strange at all - I'm from the UK if thats why?!!) Just finding it hard to make time each day as I have a baby and 2 young boys.
Want to get the most I can from the cd's but not sure as to the stratagie for the 'suggestions'. It seems alittle vague to me. Can someone help?

There are sample suggestions in the book Evie, if you have ordered it or downloaded it.

Some suggestions for abstinence might be:

"I feel so much better now that I don't drink."
"I enjoy drinking ________ more than alcohol."
"I feel so healthy now that I don't drink wine (beer, vodka)."
"I don't need to drink to enjoy myself."

Some suggestions for moderation might be:

"I am satisfied with just one drink."
"I forget to have a second drink."
"I enjoy drinking soda water (or fruit juice or tea)."
"I don't like drinking to excess anymore."

Does this help? I hope so!
