Hi everyone. I hope that it’s okay if I join you a little late for the June abstinence.
This is my 2nd time on the program. I gave it a run several moths ago and had some good success until I started to become to “smart” for it. I figured that I was doing so well I could skip those CD’s; after all they seemed silly and the guy’s voice kind of annoys me. Then I thought I didn’t really need all of those supplements with weird names; especially the AIO powder! (I just can’t get used to that stuff) After awhile I got sick of the topomax too. You can guess the rest of the story. This time I’m following the program to the letter. (even the AIO powder!) Good luck to everyone. Steve |

Hi Steve,
You bet, always room for one more. We are glad to have you. Thanks for sharing your story with us. How long had you been on the program before you became too "smart" so to speak? Welcome Back!! We are on Day Nine Check In today. Donna PS If you go to page two of the General Discussion board you will find a thread called "Favorite Mixers For All One". I also believe there are some ideas for mixes right here on this board as well. Happy sipping!! ![]() |

Welcome Back Steve,
Don't worry there have been quite a few of us that have been too "smart" for the program and have to had to have a "do over"! By the way, I like to mix my "All in one" with really cold Dole pineapple, orange, banana juice in the shaker and shake the crap out of it! The banana in the juice seems to help with the texture! Good luck and you'll get it right this time! Keep your spirts and determination up! ~Tammie |

Steve
Welcome back. Glad you are here and giving it another go. Life without the alcohol running the show is quite nice! I can only speak for small windows I have had lately without my wine - but I know that I always FEEL BETTER and stronger when I am sober. I am nicer and more fun too! wellseasoned |

Welcome back Steve!
I'm with Marcie - sounds like you have a good plan. There are definitely ways to "hide" the AIO in a delicious recipe, so do check out the thread that Donna mentioned. I honestly don't know what the stuff tastes like, and I've had it everyday for the last 2 months! See ya later smart guy! Deirdre |

Welcome back Steve,
Good to see you didn't give up just because of a slip or whatever you call it. Keep up the good work. And remember... You did it before. You can do it again! I'm new here. This is only my 5th day of many attempts at either moderation or abstinance. I'm going for asbtinance this time 'cuz it seems like everytime things are going smooth I get "too smart" for my own good too. Everyone here tells me that IF I follow MWO by the book, it WILL work! Did you do it by the book before? |

OH... and Steve?
About the All In One powder... It was either Deirdra or Donna's advice to make fruit smoothies with it. It's not bad at all! I'm playing with different recipes now and plan to post the ones that aren't totally hideous. Someone in chat uses orange juice, strawberries and bananas in their morning smoothie... Good luck |
