Default Day 10

Hello Fellow Surfers!

Day 10!! Yeah! That's 1/3 of the way to 30!

Congratulations All!

I am so thankful that the weekend is finally here. I feel like the world chewed me up & spit me out this week! So I plan on making the best of my re-charging time these mere 2 days...that means no negative people! Had enough of them during the week. So, gonna get lots of exercise, saunas, maybe a massage, hypno cd's, time with my kitty's, and music!

Hope all is well with everyone! Will check in later...

Deirdre

It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

WOW! I'm the first one up today? HUH?

Seriously, here it is... The morning after the night before... Friday night to boot... And I couldn't wait to get up and start the day! NO hangover, no shakes, no diahrrea! I can't believe it! I've been up since 7:30... on a SATURYDAY! YIPPIIEEEEEE!!!

Day 5 here. 4 down... and I feel GREAT! Yesterday, my mind was kinda fuzzy. Shrug. I know that happens... But I've never... and I mean NEVER had the first few days of not drinking go soooo smoothe. Shhhhhhhh. Don't read this aloud. I don't wanna jinx it!

I'm only doing the All In One nutrition powder and all the supps except GABA and the protien thingies so far. I'm just following the suggested doses and times that came with my kit.

I'm making myself eat real food around the times that "normal" people eat, drinking at least 6 big glasses of water/day, and am trying to go to bed at a decent hour (Yes, I'll even give up my all night chatting if it means I stop drinking). I think those calmes thingies really work for that because I've actually slept every single night... even when I didn't THINK I was tired yet!

If it's this good so far, I can't wait till my book arrives!

HAPPY NOT HUNGOVER SATURDAY YA'LL! I think I'll go yard saleing today... tee hee

okay, well i'm the second one up. actually it wasn't my fault. i didn't mean to get up. lol it was a topamax accident. i was so worried i'd drink yesterday that i titrated up to 250 from 200 but forgot i did that. then went to cocktail event. yesterday morning i also took my usual fiber. uhoh. the combo had a colon explosive effect. lol needless to say last night i left event after only 15 minutes there lol. strange gurgling in stomach and rushed home so last night and this morning i'm best friends with every bath room in my house. so that was a safe nite

welcome to saturday all.
i'm actually going to two events today and know that i'm going to have a glass of wine and then back to abs. sooooo, i'll be back to one day. but happy as a clam about all the progress not perfection i've achieved. happpy. and well who knows i may not leave the house though since i'm still best friends with my bathrooms. hummm. hope everyone has a safe weekend. and i'll post this weekend about having 8 1/2 years of sobriety. it seems like a distant memory because it was 4 years ago. and i was in an aa program for the first 4 years of it. who i am now and this program and who i am becoming through this feels so much more solid and truthful. but i'll say one thing for 8 1/2 years every day i thought about drinking and everyday i didn't. that is what is different than today. so, for now we take a deeper inventory and a truer picturer emerges and a deeper, richer life emerges and thank you for your support. i am here rooting you all on. here's to bathrooms of america. i know them intimately.

Me too. Another AFD.
If I make it today, it will be a new world record for me, 7 days in a row.
yeah, i know, that is low compared to some of y'all, but it is great for me. So i will accept the award should I win it tomorrow.

Also, I returned from a 5 day road trip with no alcohol. That indeed was a new world record for me.
keep up the good work everyone.
Love and Peace,
Phil

Good morning all,
Starting to feel a little more like myself after the biopsy yesterday, but still sleepy. It feels nice to be rid of the anxiety that came with that. I'm not anxious for the results(at least not yet anyway). I've been busy the past couple days so I ddin't get a chance to check in, been on the other boards some, but not this one. Weathers much cooler here the past couple days, only 62 and pretty windy. Tomorrow should be warmer. Not much I can do today, but bum around a little with hubby. I have to take it easy this weekend so I don't cause any liver bleeding.

Have a great weekend!

Hi all!
What uplifting posts today!!!! I'm in a bit of a funk because it's still raining,we're flooded all around and i'm having 80 people tomorrow for a party for my son.I'm frustrated as can't do yard work because of the rain and I don't want 80 people in my kitchen.
But to look on the bright side I won't be tempted as this is mostly for 18year olds and I must be vigilant that THEY do not drink.
Have a good weekend all. Keep up the great work everyone. It's just wonderful to read your posts.

I am so proud of myself. I started back on Campral, and AIO. I went to dinner party last night, and had a virgin bloody mary. Drank water the rest of the night. I woke up this morning feeling great! It's so nice to actually be able to recall what went on at the dinner party for a change. Thanks for taking me back into the June Abs guys.
