Good Morning All!
I do hope everyone had an enjoyable Friday evening! So, what is on tap (no pun intended) for today? My family is pretty much scattered in different directions with my husband and son both on two different sailboat races, my daughter off to work and then busy getting ready for the prom, and myself buying and planting flowers in the yard. I do hope that whatever you guys have planned for the day that you have nice weather to do it in, good people to enjoy it with, and all the tools at your disposal needed to avoid any obstacles that may arise!! Check in often if need be! CDS: Hyno Track 2, Subliminal, and Sleeplearning. Everything else is the same! Have a Beautiful Saturday All!! Donna |

All's well here, sitting around waiting for my new range to be delivered. Don't know why I ordered it so early, nothing to plug it into until my renovations are complete.
Anyway still clean and abstinent. Day 46 ? Starting to lose track. Dug |

Hey Everyone!
Day 47 for me...Dug, you too! Congrats! Sounds like we have all have good plans for the weekend...I'm soon on my way to Vermont where we have a small cabin...I used to crack open a bottle of wine upon arrival--but not today! I've only been out there once since abstinence and it was like I'd never seen the place before! Vermont is so incredibly beautiful and seeing in through clear eyes is a real treat...fortunately, I have some non-drinking friends there--although, in general, Vermont is a pretty heavy drinking state....the rural locals all seem to drink beer from breakfast on (beer and guns, OMG!) and the New York City "ex-pats" start with the Chardonnay before lunch...I managed to fit in with both crowds! Weather is really muggy here in NYC--can't wait to get to the Green Mountains! I'll be out there for the whole week--but checking in regularly... Have a great weekend, everyone! best, susan |

Hi Everyone,
Today will be Day 38 of abs for me - can't believe will hit 40 this weekend. Wanted to have some wine last night, but the urge passed quickly and without much effort. Glad to see that so many are doing well. Seems like lots of folks have already hit that 40 day mark and the rest are cooking along with their month of abs. Today, I will take advantage of the extra day to complete as much work as possible. Know it sounds boring, but I want to "zero" out my year without having to stay up nights! btw - Tomorrow cat is getting shaved - yay! Found somene to do this job for only 50 bucks. So, Leo will no longer suffer from matts. If it seems to help the shedding problem, the others had better watch out! Take care all, Pansy |

Congrats on 38 days Pansy! That's fabulous! I still get little urges every now & then too, but thankfully they do pass quicker these days, don't they?
Hope you have a great time in Vt Susan. My fam has some property up near Bennington where we've always held our reunions - camping style. It's been years since I've been up there & now you're inspiring me to make a trip sometime this summer. Hmmm.... now if only I could borrow some of your camping gear Donna... ol Nothing special planned for me this wkend. Just catching up on all the things I can't do during the week, like clean the house & do the laundry...fun huh? See, I just need y'all to know how glamourous my life in the big city really is, let's just say I ain't no Carrie Bradshaw. ol But I will get some good workouts in at the gym, get a massage, drink some green juice, get a mani/pedi. Basically I'm gonna pretend I'm at an exclusive remote Spa without leaving Brooklyn. Is it possible you ask? Sure, if you subtract the traffic, the noise, the neighbors, the parking tickets, the concrete, the fiends, the stalkers, ...ok let me stop, cuz this could go on forever. Can you tell I need to get away?? :rollin Have a great Saturday everyone, Deirdre |

Hello All,
Pretty quiet day around here. Mowed the lawn this afternoon and then hubby and I went grocery shopping. Spent $160:eek at the grocery store! Can you tell we had no food left in the house? We've never spent that much at one time before, probably because I was spending that much on beer and wine and we couldn't afford food ol . I think we hit 81 degrees today, tomorrow is supposed to be 90! Hope everyone had a great day!Marcie |
