Default Day 28 Check In

Happy Sunday, Moderators!

Well, finally up at an early hour! Too early, if you ask me! But I couldn't fall back asleep, so I decided to accept my fate of being up at 5:30 something on a holiday weekend Sunday and just get to it!!! ol So I'm here, having answered other e-mails, and soon, it will be back to housework again! It's good to have a productive weekend, though! My sister is a bit anal about cleaning and not much of a drinker, so we've been going through the house and culling and sorting and cleaning. It's a good reminder of how more normal people live for me--and also a reminder of how I used to live my life before I spent so much of it drinking--or trying not to drink!!!

My only real temptation this weekend will be a barbeque that I will be going to tomorrow, after my sister has left to go home. I plan on bringing some cranberry and selzer, along with a bottle of wine for the party, and I can sip on that in between having two or three glasses of wine.

I hope that you all have a good day planned.

Kathy

I slept til 9am!!
Holy crap!
Felt great. BBQ at our place today... actually clam bake. Clams, mussels, lobster, crab legs, sausage, potatoes, onion, garlic....
hubby tends to go a little overboard. Told you guys wining and dining is our THANG! Having maybe 6-7 people over. Yesterday went well, had a few wine spritzers and hung out with the neighbors. Found cutting the white wine with plain sparling water is a nice refreshing (and half alcohol, half calorie!) bevvie.

Glad to hear you sound like you are making it thru the weekend, Kathy! Relax today! You deserve it.

Tummy is better by the day.... was it really those supps the whole time??????? Weird. What am I gonna do?? Still on the topa. Scary, cuz I've been taking the Kudzu, Lglut, etc for the cravings. Hopefully I'm strong enough you guys.... kinda scared.

OK, have a great one!!

GO DANICA PATRICK. SHUT UP RICHARD PETTY!!
(We used to always go to the Indy 500...close to my heart!)

Mornin everybody! glad to hear things are going well for you gals. Here's a little magnet quote I picked up recently for my fridge,....(thought ya might appreciate it)
"Whatever women do, they must do twice as well as men to be thought half as good.
Luckily this is not difficult."

As I'm typing this, Scott just realized he washed his wallet in his jeans pocket, yesterday, while I was @ work! Thank God it was raining or he might've done more yard work!! Ha!:rollin
Oh, I have little baby raspberry plants starting to pop up! Yeah! :D
Had a great night @ work, made lots of $$! And still got home fairly early! Tonight should be good too. Have to go in @ 1:00 today, so maybe I'll get rich again! (For 2 more days till mortgage is due...)

Hey Becca,

Are you taking the allone? That can be pretty powerful for making you rumbly in your tumbly! It sure made me feel so, at first!!!! I didn't find that the kudzu had any impact on my tummy at all! It's good that you are doing okay with the topa, because that is a very strong medication for the cravings!

Hey Judie,

Keep raking in those $$$$ while you give your customers the what for!!!

Hugs,
Kathi

Hi all,

We took the kids to Valleyfair today! It is our admusement/waterpark here in the area. Ate "fair food", rode rides and floated in the Lazy river; very relaxing. I think I should have wore more sun screen however! Oh well, got to start my tan some how:eek !

Becca, your get together dinner with friends sounds wonderfully yummy! Good for you on keeping you drinks down. I think you are doing an awesome job! Keep it up!

Judie, way to go on making the big bucks working...Hey someone has to do it...Right? Hope your day today went well also and that you can enjoy some of your day today atleast.

Kathy I hope your move and cleaning gets done on time and everything goes smooth! Think of how nice it will be tomorrow to have it all done! You will be able to relax and enjoy your afternoon!

Everyone else I hope you have a great day today and a wonderful tomorrow also!

I am not sure what our plans are tomorrow! I do know that I have been 2 days abs and plan on being abs for some time....not putting a limit on it or anything! Just going to do my own thing! But I like hanging out down here so I think I will! I need to get back to my 2 week abs and 1 day/couple of drinks type of thing! Sorry didn't mean to go off into a blab session there....lol!

Supps: I am back to 100mg of topa and I take 1 GABA in the evening. I haven't started back on any of the others yet. I am waiting to start adding more back in on Tuesday when my kids and hubby go back to work and school. That is when I need most of my help. I think I will start slow and see what I need and what my stomach can take as far as the supps go! I did have major tummy issues when I was on them before. Maybe it was the All One, I guess I alway thought it was the L glute for some reason. It will be interesting to find out which one. I wonder how I should go about figureing it out. Any suggestions? I know it isn't the topa or the GABA.

Sorry so long...Thanks for listening! It is nice to be back!
Best to all,
Love, Tammie

Hi Tammie, I'm tempted to think it might be the Allone. I've never tried it. But I have been doing the L-Glut, w/no problems, also do Milk thistle, royal jelly, Bacopa(for mental clarity), B complex, 100mg topa, vit C, ginsing, green tea, & cranberry capsules. I haven't had any tummy troubles, I try to make sure I at least eat a piece of string cheez or toast, in the AM, with my tea, & supps, kinda seems like alot of pills! But seems to be working!!
