Default day 5

A favorite saying in sports is, "It isn't losing to get knocked down. Losing is staying down.":eek
In life as in sports that idea, makes great sense. No one wins every time out, or can expect to. And some battles aren't worth fighting anyway.:rolleyes
Fighting a battle isn't hell-our unrealistic expectations are. When we strike out against some old attitudes or behavior, we have to realize we're in for the long haul. When the enemy is some aspect of ourselves, we are up against a formidable opponent that wont give up easily. The winner is the one who perserveres the longest. We can't loose if we don't quit... :b

Stayed AF this weeked, took all my supps, ectra... Will continue to do the same today, plus add in the Clearing CD and Excersise. It is raining out now but should clear up shortly! I will check back in later this morning I am sure after I get the kids off to school!

I love the daily quotes too!

Today will be AF and the start on the infamous Fat Flush Detox 11 day stint. Now that I made that public announcement I guess I better stick to it! :b

I don't particularly care for the Fat Flush book, a lot of groovy marketing of their own supplements "liver loving" and "colon caring", but it's a program that looks like it will help recalibrate me.

I always know I'm drinking too frequently when I start craving PopTarts! I'm locking my purse in the car today so I won't have any $$ for PopTarts. No caving in on Monday.

Everyone, have a great day!

Love the daily quotes - but consider this for a moment. - They can be greatly enhanced, if at the end of each we add two simple words ...."in bed".

Contemplate and enjoy.

Great job on last week, Tammie!
Lois, sounds like you are on track too!
Me too. Yesterday, I got back with the Kudzu and LGlut and was back to feeling stronger about the drinking. Won't post a ton, cuz you guys know what happened last week. I tallied my drink count and I'm mortified for last wk's total.
SOOOO glad I'm keeping that "incriminating evidence"!!!!

Finally posted my June plan.
Didn't have one written for drinking and it showed.
Started taking the supps.
Stopped and it showed.

I talked and talked, but it was like the old days when I was making promises every day that I didn't keep. So I'm praying that recommiting to a written program and the supps works, or I will be heartbroken.

Default day 5

Good Morning all Day #5!

Judie, loved the quote. Fits perfect for me this morning.

I didn't have any drinks on Saturday.

Yesterday, I fell off the moderation thing. After cleaning the house . . . again. . . from a dirt devil (Wind swept sand storm) I came away with a splitting headache. Went to the grocery store, picked up the rest of veggies etc for dinner and some Benadryl. Took 2 and stilll had a splitting headache an hour later. Took two shots and since I had finished everything for the dinner, fell asleep for about half and hour.

Kids and girlfriends came over for dinner and we served wine, which I didn't take but then later in the evening, everything cleaned up, no headache no real reason . . . I had three drinks! Just when I think I know my stressors or triggers . . . maybe there is more to it than I see.

I am going ot start a drink diary - makes perfect sense. While I say I am doing this moderation thing it only seems to go as far as I let it. I have no idea why I did that.

Started with the all in one this morning and all the supps and I have to say I think it is the all in one that gets my stomach more than any of the other supps.

Well, I am allowed one more drink over the next couple days and I think I better just say no as I didn't really want to stop last night!
:(

Tammie, you are dong great!, Becca hang in there and Lois, good luck!
Hugs,
Mary

Morning again, All! This time I've actually been to bed! Much needed!:b It was a looog weekend witha lot of hours on my feet! Got the mortgage paid & now I can send some other checks out today!!:\ ol Good thing I don't eat or drink much these daysol , and my kayak doesn't use gasoline!! Speaking of, I think my trucks almost on empty, as the stations were all closed when I got off work last night! Maybe I can have pedals installed ....:rolleyes ...the uphills would be a real B*tch tho...ol

Donna, that's one of my favorite quotes too! Gotta love those used book store books, some real tresures can be found!

Tammie, I sure hope Summer's almost here! It keeps raining out here in Oregon,Big Suprise! I didn't have an AF weekend, but darn close, as I barely had time to eat or sleep.... but you be sure I made time for a glass or 2 of wine at the computer after work....ol even if I had to wake myself up to finish it!!

Lois that Fat Flush, just has such a "drastic" sound to it! I did pick up some cider vinagar capsules, and have been taking them. My addiction is fresh homemade blackberry pie, warm w/ice cream(of course I use lite ice cream), so it's ok right?:rollin We have awsome pie where I work. In fact when I was in High school( back in 1975!!) I used to wait tables w/ the same lady who makes the pies now- she was the cook @ a diff restaurant), I'd go all day w/out eating anything- I did gymnastics & we had to weigh-in, so I was always on a diet...still am!!...So at 10: at night , I'd have blackberry alamode, Im sure that was very nutritious for a sixteen yr old!:eek (seems to be workin 30 yrs later too!)

Rebecca, Sounds like your feeling better...? I hope...
I'll bet your boys are keeping you busy with all kinds of fun summer plans ! Do help you with your training? Probably every waking minute....chasing em around...Ha!ol .... My Hubby says "I always "Behave"..... just sometimes I get in trouble for it! Not sure what he means by that....0]

Mary, I've been fighting a headache the past 2 days too. I think it might be fatige/hormone related (bleedin like stuck pig!) lucky me!:( Thats soo much fun, when running between tables with food & racing to the bathroom, knowing you're "back-up is wayyyy "past gone!" Yank GOD for black pants! Sorry too much info!:o Soo glad I have the day off, or I'm afraid there would be more bloodshed elsewhere!ol That woman that couldnt eat her pie with a spoon, & needed a fork(when I REALLY needed to take care of something more imppt) almost got that fork in her *ss!:rollin One of these days!
U-oh don't get me started on work...it's my day OFF!!! YeaH!!ol :eek :rollin at

Tawny Frog,

Love your "In Bed" addition to the daily quotes. I always add the same phrase after reading fortune cookies and they seem to make a lot more sense!
