I did a search on EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) in the Forums and didn't find a single reference to it. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't popped up here as one tool in a holistic approach to overcoming alcohol cravings. It's free and there's pretty much all the info you need to get started online at EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques -- Learn from the Founder Gary Craig I have to admit, having tried doing it alone though hasn't worked out for me.
I've just started working with a coach (2nd session tonight) who uses this technique, and while I've still been drinking off and on, I'm beginning to see how it is going to help. I'd love to talk with others who might be interested. btw, I'm pretty new to MWO, so I may not use the right terminology. For instance, I didn't know if people here refer to "addiction". Nan |

Hey Nan, I discovered Gary Craig's site a couple years ago. I was very intrigued, printed out the whole booklet thing, taught myself the technique... and being the alcoholic I am, didn't stick to it consistently enough to determine whether or not it works.
I believe there are many paths to healing, and it seems that EFT can be an option for many.
