1) Many doctors only do a TSH test, which doesn't tell you much all by itself. 2) The "normal" range of TSH is considered to be so broad that many people with fairly serious Thyroid problems can easily be told their Thyroid is "normal." Also, the range considered "normal" changed to a narrower one (although still pretty broad) in 2002? 2003? but many labs aren't using it, and the doctors don't know. 3) To really know if Thyroid might be a problem, you need TSH, Free T4 and Free T3 as far as I can tell from all the MUCH much stuff I've been reading up on lately. Just wanted to throw that out there as hair loss is definitely a symptom of low Thyroid (but is also a symptom of lots of other stuff too). Whatever is the cause, I hope you get it figured out!! On the healing powers of honey....they are real!!! Ideally, find a bee keeper within 30 miles of where you live and buy your honey unprocessed. When it's unprocessed and local to you - WOW. DG

You guys are great. I will definitely look into the unprocessed honey. I bet my sister would love to buy some too. River, love the pic.lol. I plan to NEVER marry again. Right now, I am not even fit to have a boyfriend.lol. I decided to take about a year to work on myself, don't need complications(relationships).

Hi Cindi
Yeah, I definitely think it is AL related. I am not sure if I am taking all the right stuff though. I am taking a multivit with minerals, Vit D, B-comlex, magnesium and vit C. I think the MWO book addresses hair loss. I have been so busy. I haven't gotten past page 54. I am off for two days, although always on-call, so one never knows. I should be able to finish the book. |
