Yes Dolly, please join us. Any equipment that gets us moving and on to better health is welcome. I just happen to have a treadmill. I will be back on it tomorrow and posting the amount of time and distance I went. Everyone can set their own goals. For me, I want to do at least 30 minutes, but whatever we can do is good. Putting it out "here" makes me more accountable. I hope to start feeling and seeing the benefits soon.

Here's to getting healthier and feeling better!!

Come on, let's see some times!!

Miso

I too would like to do at least 30 min daily. I will post what I do everyday even if it's not 30. I definitely need accountability.

Hi guys, I quit smoking March 1st. I got support from Livingfree and FallenAngel. I know there are others...Boozehag is one. I used Quitnet.com for awhile--their forum is not as user-friendly or people friendly as this one I didn't think. I will join a non-smoking thread!

Way to go Barebones . That sounds like a great walk. I just did 30 minutes on the treadmill (1.5 miles). The toes didn't cramp up today . Feels good. I'm looking forward to making this a healthy habit.

I've been babysitting all day for a friend, now he's gone home and I'm off for my walk--could put it off, but it's just toooooo nice outside!

Barebones--I guess here (fitness forum) for the non-smoking thread what do you think?

I'm so sad. My doctor had to cancel my appointment for Friday; I was hoping she would put me on the Chantix. I can't get in until the end of May. She wanted to wait until I had a full physical before she prescribed it to me. I left a message to please do it anyway. It's not my fault she can't see me. :(
I don't have a treadmill, but I just bought an exercise bike. The room I put it in was under construction, so I would only put in 10 minutes at a time (boring). I just finished yesterday, and with a TV in place, I am hoping to do more time while I watch some shows on the tube.
