Default Walk/Run Around the World? 24901.55 miles

I plan on starting a running program....It has been at least 15 years since I last ran...so I was trying to find something to motivate me...and I thought, "Hey, maybe as a team, we could run/walk/bike around the world this year". I don't know if anyone would be interested, but here it is.

I ran/walked 1 mile

Total=1mile

Cool idea Luka! I'll add my totals to yours for today...

1 mile elliptical
1.5 miles run/walk
1 mile stairclimber/hill thingy

Team total = 4.5 (I wonder how long this will take)

Great stuff Luke!
Heard of a runner/writer in U.S. called John Bingham, a.k.a. the penguin? Writes in runner's world, but has some great free online /inspiration's too.

Yesterday i ran 5 km's.

Hi there Luka and Guitarista!

The good news...we can add 4.5 more miles to our trek around the world today. Hooray!

The bad news...I have absolutely NO IDEA how to add the miles to the kms!

So far we have:
4.5 miles
5 km
4.5 miles

Who can do the math??

Okay, I'm back...mile conversion is 3.10685 miles for 5 kms...so we are at a grand total of 12.10685 miles or 19.4840864064 kms! Good grief. What shall we use?

I've been so lazy today....only .5 miles......
As far as the total, I say we just round...I added our total to the title.....
I better start getting in gear and do my part, or this is going to take 10 years!!! Where are all the long distance bike riders? We could use their help!
