Default I hope

everything turns out ok. It sounds like you are trying to get to the sober point.

I am not understanding the last 2 things you said you "had". It doesn't matter.

I wish you the best and hope to see you again soon

Glad you posted, and good you are doing whatever it takes to get on track... let us know, when you get out, how it went and how you are doing. It will be a great time to begin working on a work-able plan!

Please check in when you get back and grab on to all the support you can (here, AA, psychiatrist, whatever) to keep from getting back to this place. Maybe write down your experience prior to and during detox to remind you of why you want to stay sober when the going gets rough?

I am glad that you will detox with support. As someone else said before me, "you never have to do this again". Great idea, Louise. I wish that I had journaled during my last detox. Thank God it is still very fresh in my mind. It can also be helpful to read your old posts, when u were going through Hell. Please let us know how u are, and how we can be of help, upon your return. Best wishes.
