Default Help My Doctor Will Kill Me :(

Hi I feel like such an idiot :(

End of April I was messed up with drinking out of control.

Doctor Told Me My Liver Enzymes were raised and to stop till they settled down.

I Was given some diazapam . I stopped all May and up to Last Thursday . Just over 40 days.

Was going to the gym and felling good.

What happened bumped into an old friend who suggested we go for a quick pint. He could stop at 3 pints. Me into next pub then into Off licence. Then into 7 days of solid binge drinking.
I stomach hurts and my liver area , I feel so shaky nervous out of control.
I feel like drinking again today , Haven't so far but feel I might anytime.

Why does this happen to me :(

Any Advice please before I tempted to go to Shop again :(

Just stop Trevor! You know better especially knowing how great you felt after 40 days AF. Medical issues alone should be enough incentive to never drink again and stopping/starting stopping is not going to allow healing to take place. Quit goofing off and hang here more often too!!

Your body is telling you something, don't drink today! Maybe take a diazapam to settle the nerves, drink water and rest. Feel better

Don't do it. I know exactly how you are feeling. Very keyed up, feeling like crap, wanting another drink, and not thinking with a clear head. I went on a 5 day binge about a week ago and now have been AL for 6 days. I feel so much better than I did 5 days ago. First, eat something and start drinking water. Take your vitamins and try to stay calm. Tell yourself that the day will end soon and you may not feel great tomorrow but you will feel better than today. The day after tomorrow you will fell better than tomorrow. Remember how great you felt when you were on a sober stretch and focus on that. You can do it. Stay on this site and get support. I will be around most of the day so if you need help staying strong let me know. Gabby.

Sorry, but I don't think that it's your doctor that's going to kill you. Maybe you should call your doctor and telling him/her what is going on. You did 40 days, you can do another 40. Hang in there, you can do this!!!!

Trevor, I agree, Liver Disease is very serious. It is also my understanding that still drinking alcoholics are not even candidates for liver transplants. (for good reason) You need to get a handle on this for sure!

Do you have a plan to get sober?
