MaggyMay,
![]() You can download RJ's book about her story from this site. It is not very expensive and it is a good read. It describes the program and how our brains are affected by drinking. It also outlines a program for us to either reduce our intake to moderate or to go completely abstinent. I don't know how much you drink or if physical withdrawal is an issue but you should check out the link at the top of the page for signs of alcohol withdrawal. If you have any need of medication, that link can tell you about it. Read the book, read the posts and ask any questions you have. I am glad you are here and good luck on this incredible journey. Love, Cindi XXIX |

a huge hello to everyone! I wish everyone the very best of luck with the AF days. I am only on day 4 but it feels so good to be in control after months upon months of drinking wine at nights - as a way for me to relax...stupid I know...I guess I got sick and tired of feeling sick and tired...reached this conclusion on Sunday and therefore was determined to do something about it...so here I am. My apologies if i am posting on the wrong thread or area..do not have much of a clue what I am doing. Just wanted to say hello and best of luck to us all. We can do it..
