My Mood:
Default Weekend Party Guy...

I go Monday thru Thursday without even wanting a drink. But, come Friday, its to the Liqour Store for Miller Lite, Jack and Wine. I call myself "just having fun" but really I am drinking way to much. Today, I did not go to work because I was too hung over from the weekend. I have been down on myself all day. I felt like crap all day.

I am 50 now and I don't recover like I used too. I tried moderation starting two years ago; the no drinking Monday - Thursday rule. Well, its time for the next step. I got to give up the acohol period.

I dont drink and drive - thank God. I am usually at home on the weekend drinking to much at night.

The truth is I am a very fit guy (gym rat), but I am not happy with the excess drinking ; clouds my judgment and leaves me feeling bad.

I am going to give up drinking. Right now the thought of drinking is repulsive to me. I am going to do this.

Hi there Look,
Good move on getting rid of something that no longer works for you.
Drinking also made me very depressed being sober, I do feel much better about myself.
Theres lots of support here and everyone understands what you are going through. So stay close to the boards and best wishes on your journey.
