$50 chocolate cake

$ 50 chocolate cake...no... it doesn't cost $50

  1. 2 cups sugar
  2. 1/4 cup butter
  3. 2 eggs
  4. 4 sq. baking choc.(1 inch sq.x1/2 inch thick)
  5. 1/2 tsp. salt
  6. 1 Tbsp.baking powder
  7. 1 1/3 cup milk
  8. 1 cup chopped nuts
  9. 2 tsp. vanilla
  10. 2 cups flour
Preparation:
  1. cream sugar and butter together ( until you have lemon colored sugar)
  2. continue to cream as you add eggs one at a time
  3. fold in melted baking chocolate
  4. sift flour, salt, and baking powder;add to choc. mixture alternately with milk
  5. fold in nuts and vanilla
Instructions:
  1. pour into greased and floured 9x13 in pan
  2. bake at 325/350 degree oven for 30 to 35 min.
  3. ice with favorite frosting

Lynn, thank you for the fancy cake recipe....wow, 50 smackers. I'm sure it's going to be good.
for all the cooking I've done you may not believe this but I don't recall ever baking a cake.
I'd say it's about bloody time.
