Description:
A few weeks ago I met a friend for Happy Hour at a local Italian Restaurant. I enjoyed these Olives accompanied by cheese and little toasted breads! They were amazing...totally yummy! OH! yes, I probably enjoyed them even more with my Herbal Iced Tea cocktail!
Other: Ingredients:
Time:
5 minutes
Difficulty:
easy
Serving Size:
6
  1. Assorted Olives
  2. Olive Oil
  3. Fennel Seeds

  4. Cheese Board
Preparation:
  1. Assorted Olives (your choice) I love the ones at the Olive Bar at Whole Foods! (approx 2 Cups

  2. Heavy Saute Pan
Instructions:
  1. pour about 1 TBS of olive oil in saute pan
  2. Turn heat onto medium
  3. place olives in the pan
  4. sprinkel with 1-2 Tbs Fennel seeds and toss
  5. Continue tossing olives until olives are hot
  6. place in bowl and enjoy!

  7. I highly recomend a good cheese board and toasted bread pieces as the cheese really enhances the flavor of the olives!

Kate,

I am a huge olive fan. Huge.

I am definitely going to Fresh Market and get some assorted olives and fennel.

Hubby can eat them, too, as they are on his "low carb" diet.

Love,
Cindi

This sounds great - I am a savoury picky person not a sweet one - love olives, cheese, crackers, pate etc. - all very fattening but then what isn't that tastes moreish?
May try this tonight.

Bandit
