Peeky Boo folks.....
Yeees Raggsy....India is a pretty full on isn't it ?
I always suffer Indian romantic syndrome. Go home, have a couple of years of hot clean food, clothes and showers. Forget all about the filth, heat and touts. Start the romanticism and longing. Go back. Step out of the airport.....WHAM......Oh yeah...that's right....
Hello 'Never Again', how's it going there ?
What's up Tawny ? Did you find too many design flaws with those batchelors ?
I'm continuing to think about my New Year's Resos. So far I can only agree with myself to to 'raise the bar'. You can all take that any way you way you want to
How are you G force ? And reading back, thankyou for your offer to put my garden fence in. I continue to bemoan the fact that you are so far away.
Right, time for a skid round the site.

No, I've not seen Robot Monster Missy (YET!) so can't comment.

Spent more time in hammock under apple tree deciding to take seriously the advice of Lin Yutang, famous author of "The Importance of Liiving" (AKA the classic bestseller that introduced millions to the noble art of leaving things undone)

In the past i've built nice solid fences round veggies Bridge by digging square post holes at corners, sinking said posts about 2 ft and puddling them in with clay & letting it dry into hardness then bracing them with more posts but bit sidesways (like kids hangman pen/paper game). After that I strained fence wire in a square & covered the lot in chicken wire. Though you might need cage wire or something thicker near the bottom with dogs. I had only wild birds, chooks & guineapigs to keep out. Even netted the top. The hardware costs quite a lot but tis doable on your own or even better with the boyo.

I also tried to rebuild a sort of fence this afternoon with young son. Think it is still pretty flimsy so more work on it tomorrow. Wish it was not so durned HOT. Looking forward to getting more done in Autumn. We have Trees to plant!

I agree utterly. Having unexpected visits from ex-partners is indeed AWKWARD at the best of times, much less the during the silly season. Hope you are going better Hartley.

I am still recovering from the confusion of my own unexpected visitor/s. Still sputtering along awaiting my second wind.. and tis true, a good tune keeps me going too.

Actually, I can work with that....thanks girlie.....that'll be the kind of building materials I'll use....although I have fantasies of a white picket fence with a dear little gate on it........(Snap out of it Bridget)
Raised bed is going to be Besser/ breeze blocks, which I will render or bag. Herbs go into the little holes all the way round on the circumference. No dig method will be the go (Thankyou Froglet) (Token kissy huggy thingo)

Ah yes Brigos, Siren Nymph of the Seven sea's, 'tis such a pity you don't live around the corner......We could hang out at Bunning's together....;-)
Haven't seen that movie Missios.
Fick's the builder! Cool!
