PC slow as a tortoise on Calms Forte! Help!
Right, I know there must be some computer experts out there.....I need some help before I finally go around the twist!
PC is SUPER fecking slow...I have done everything I can think of.....deleted temporary files......emptied bin, having a problem defragmenting.... it takes ages to load up in the morn, I am running on 2 gb so surely it should be faster...any suggestions because if not I am throwing it thru the window...I swear! Thanks guys, o2m

did you run a full scan on and try to defrag it and what program are you runing window vista or what

running windows xp....did a avg scan which found nothing..there is an error when I try to defragment.......

Hi One2Many,
Well I have to hand it to you- I've been trying for weeks to show my husband this website and get him to help me with posting pics and accessing chat but to no avail - the minute he thinks now that there might be a PC out there that is sick he has suddenly become keenly interested! - PCs are his addiction!. He wants to know what error message is showing up when trying to defrag?  Bandit

xp ok thorw it the window just kidding .. defag then run a back up and restore if that doesnt work your hard drive is corrupt ..good luck you have 10 seconds before this message selfdestuck
 and if all fails replace your inter hard drive

When was the last time you DID run defrag? Also, how much free space do you have on the thing? One of my old PC's died about a year ago when I had it completely jammed up with photos and music, never could get it to work right even after I "deleted" a lot of stuff and de-fragged.

bandit do you know how to have two windows open well if you do leave mywayout open and go to the other window and google photo bucket.. make a acount there for you and find what pic you want to post then click on it it will display the IMG code-forum's bulletin boards ..rigth click on that..then right click on select all. thenright click again to copy then come back to the site and rigth click and paste it anywhere you want .. hope this help you
