My Freddie has banged his head on car bumpers a couple of times cause he's walking down the road but not looking where he's going - gawking at some other dog or cat or something and looking behind him while he walks...

the pups hoon around chasing each other all the time, it's fun to watch. It was obviously startys turn to be the lead pup, she was charging about, looking behind her at her litter mates then I heard an almighty big bang and starty was knocked out.

she will be fine - I took her to the vets and he said she was just really concussed. She is missing her littermates so will pop her back in with them today , with strict instructions not to play 'tag' anymore

Hilarious, Zeppie. Don't worry about pic quality, just love hearing the stories. Sorry bout the head banging, Starty! Hubs beloved jack ass russell terrier was in the yard with him one day and Hubs said 'Want to go to the ride with me?' Before he got to to the truck to open the door, Sadie had jumped 'in' as usual, only to hit the side of the door and knock herself back out onto the drive! We laughed til we hurt, since she's as OK as usual. My daughter asked if her name was Sadie or Satan, since I called her Satan so much the grands were saying it too!!

Worked late tonight and came back home to the following email from Tigger. I’ve just cut and pasted:

“Hi Miss Behaving,

I know you were expecting me today, but I had such a lovely time with Zeppie’s doggies that it was a bit hard to leave. Particularly when Starty was a bit poorly (is she okay now??). Anyway, when I did I met some other saffas who were hitchhiking/backpacking around the South Island (there are lots of them here!!!!!!). It was really nice to meet up with people and talk about home .... travels are exciting but I miss my family sometimes too.

Anyway, and in the spirit of manana (I learned that word when I was with Aunty Jan and Ollie!) I am currently on the West Coast Tourism West Coast and staying at Hokitika ( Hokitika.com: Activities, Attractions & Accommodation, West Coast NZ). Please be assured I am behaving myself and staying out of trouble! Tomorrow we are going to Punakaiki (Punakaiki - West Coast, New Zealand : Punakaiki Tourism Site - West Coast, New Zealand Punakaiki, West Coast, New Zealand - Official Tourism Website) before heading over Arthurs Pass (the Google images are lovely!) tomorrow and then to Kaikoura (Kaikoura - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) . Would like to see if we can do some whale watching or swimming with dolphins in the afternoon if it isn’t too cold! Will be up in Picton probably Sunday to catch the ferry ............ should be with you Monday at latest.
