    made it thru the weekend

    well anather friday and saturday sown with no AL and feelin pretty good about it. this now makes 11 days sober. probably my longest stretch in over 3 years. just wanted to let everyone know I'm still doin ok cuz I aint been postin. had my kids for a few days and they keep me busy. hope everyone else had a AF weekend. later.
    I wish I knew then what I had to learn now.

      Hey man.

      Wow. that's fantastic. Sounds like you're really getting momentum now. It sounded like you would tackle this thing. Pretty much where you're at now so let's tackle this together!!

      The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.

                    Yes Pat Your doing great, i have 33 days today and the weekend was very nice.I haven't had any urger's to drink,I know for me in the past after 2 wk's i would drink again, and got the same pain.I MUST remember the pain to remain sober...I have tried everything just drinking on the weekends different al drinks etc,etc etc,I don't want this toxic poison in me any more!!! Again congradulations and BE GOOD TO YOUR SELF you derserve a better life like we all do! Trucker
