    So So tired

OK....yes, Topa still rocks. But I am so tired. Day 3 of 75 mg and way more tired than before. I'm sleeping well. Drinking very little wine (0-2 glasses). I'm not complaining, just wondering how long this might last for those who've experienced it. My inclination is to fight the fatigue but my other half just wants to lay down and go with it. Thanks.

    So So tired

were you not tired on 50mg I was very tired yesterday on 50mg but it was passed after several hours- maybe your body just needs to get used to it?

Last night- only on day one of Topa- I had 3 glasses of wine- normally I would have had 9 (whatever 2 bottles + is). I am not telling people to do this. I think I should have been on it longer, but I had decided I was going to drink before I even took and was quite shocked by what happened. It gives me so much hope for this drug in the long run. My husband is obviously thrilled, he's still a jerk. >:

yes, there is reason to be hopeful and I bet your husband is thrilled! I was not tired on 50 mg. My lips and hands didn't tingle either. I just read in the book about coenzyme Q10 for lethargy. I should get some of that. You used to drink 2 bottles and are down to 3 glasses on 50 mg so far? WOW! :rollin Awesome!

        So So tired

Maggie, yes I wasn't guzzling it I was sipping and doing other things and drinking water (I even put ice in the first glass out of nervousness which I never do), but the urgency was not there- it was weird it wasn't at the forefront of my mind.

We started drinking around 8pm and by 11:30pm we had shared a little less than a bottle and a half. Normally that would have been what just I would have had drank by that time. I stayed up to watch a dumb movie and didn't even want more and the bottle was open. That ain't me. That's the way I want to drink, like a "normal" person. He said ,
"is the dosage you'll always take?" and I said "well I don't know if this works this is where I stay but some people go up to 250 or less and have days they want nothing at all and drink even less than I just did". He was so excited. So much more so than with the possibility of my abstaining for the rest of my life and being miserable (both of us), probably since he outed me anyway. Plus he's a wine specialist which I have mentioned in other posts so I want to be able to enjoy great wines, go to vineyards, go back to Italy and France, etc. If this drug works it'll be a godsend for me.

Still haven't gotten past the "outing" yet but if this works we can just tell people that the period of abs has gotten me to get a handle on things and I can have just one or two, period. I can have my secret back. Patty :rollin

Yeah Patty, I'm fine now, thanks. This was back in January when I started. I just had to stop completly for a week or so & start over. Which was scary, because I wasn't sure if I would be able to handle it if the same thing happened. But I wasn't ready to give up on this program..
