Brisk walking for just an hour or 2 a week can reduce the risk of breast cancer of postmenopausal women by nearly 20%. ando for those who already have the disease, walking 3-5 hours a week may reduce the chance of dying from it by as much as 50%.

Walking is so good for you, I must do an average of 7 hours a week, and I always try to do at least 10,000 steps a day..

I'm a good girl I am...

It also helps to build bone density, its good for the lungs and circulation, and it always makes me feel sooooo good, but the best thing about walking is its ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!!

Does waiting tables as fast as ya can count?;)
I keep the window open & we're right @ the mouth of the river, so it's fresh air.:cool:

I do 7 hrs a night... 4-5 nights a wk

(it does cost me my sanity & sense of well being sometimes... can also test my sense of humor... good thing it's healthy!)
