Dear Dr Garcia,

I have been wondering about reducing the prescribed dose of Campral. I have been taking it since Dec 8, two three times a day. It works really well but I did experience some brain sluggishness and felt a little tired. I have dropped back to taking two, twice a day but just read that Campral doesn't metabolise so I should mess with the doseage. Is this correct. I don't have cravings and haven't drank but now I'm worried I've messed with the affect.

Hi, Amanda. Your fatigue and cognitive fuzziness could be a result of a number of other factors: stress, lack of sleep, depression, etc. Campral?s side effects are usually different from what you described, so there may be something else going on here. I?d suggest sticking with the recommended dose and seeing how you do. Good luck to you.
